Today I'm going to talk about the training/educational requirements, advantages and disadvantages of the job. Some people think being a personal trainer is easy but its a little bit more complicated than you think and actually requires a lot of skills.
What you need to be a fitness trainer is education, training, and certified. particularly you need to have a associates or bachelors degree related to health or fitness education. Some athletic trainers have a masters degree. Its important that they have good customer service skills, communication, listening and most importantly motivational skills.

- You can prevent injuries
- Helping others make their goal
- Get to travel
- Make money
- Be around athletes all day might even encounter famous ones
- Health insurance

Cons of being a personal trainer
- They put more hours into you than they get paid
- They can get hurt just like anybody else

- Long hours
- Have to work with attitudes, sweaty people, fix minor injury's
- Leaves family behinds when traveling

Its not always easy being a personal trainer. " It’s not unusual for trainers to be stressed. Their work is constant -- as soon as one issue is fixed, the next problem arises While they’re taught to implement the best form of treatment, they’re often pressured to compromise their beliefs and change their decision, like allowing an athlete to play after suffering an injury that should keep him benched. The need to make quick decisions that potentially affect a client’s health or career can be overwhelming. " ( Torrance) They have problems too just like us we have to remember that when working with them and really appreciate them for their time.
